New VS Used

         I always try to find the best deals on dvd's/bluray's - I love the idea of spending hours looking through rack after rack, shelf after shelf of movies always trying to find those few hidden treasures just sitting there, whether it be a great special edition, limited edition package etc. I would say 80% of the time i buy used and why not, all stores have a return policy of some sort if the movie does not work, yet i have known people who ONLY buy NEW. Say a new dvd/bluray comes out - you go to your local store to buy it and it costs $20 plus! I wait like a month or so and find it for half that or maybe even less if i get lucky. I have no problem waiting for something i want to own, there has been times where i buy something on day one of being released but those films are films that were my favorites of the year or just a film that was loaded with special features. I suggest you buy used if you can - even AMAZON is fantastic for used dvd's as you can get some great films for only a few $. Try your local used movie stores - take your time treasure hunting - you'll have fun.
