The Oscars 2012

So the Oscars were tonite, i have watched them every year since i was just a little guy - my brother was into movies so i would watch them - i am not sure i really understood what they were at such a young age but i have come to enjoy them - even if they do have a long run time. I don't see every nominated movie as i hate paying the high price of theaters nowadays but i know enough about each film to know what i want to see win and what i could care less about.,The big winner was 'THE ARTIST' it took best picture - cool film i guess, now i just hope the onslaught on 'silent' films does not infest Hollyweird and everyone thinks it is a new thing or the 'in' thing to do...see you next year Oscar.

THE GUILD

The Guild is an online show - you can watch it at there official site or on youtube - It was created by super nerd Felicia Day and is about a group of 'friends' who play an online game kind of like a World of Warcraft and the wackiness that happens in the game and when they meet in person - there are alot of funny moments in this show and each episode is around 2-8 minutes which makes it great for people with ADD - there are 5 seasons right now and i would guess season 6 is not to far away - plus you can do what i did and buy the seasons for cheap on AMAZON, they come with a ton of bonus material and the show is well worth seeing!

DANGER MAN AKA SECRET AGENT is a show from the 1960's (what they had television in the 60's! - yes, and most of it was better then whats on t.v. today)18 discs and and almost 60 hours of program.

SKYRIM

An EPIC game! Bethesda went abouve and beyond what they could have done with the game - This game can last well over 200 hours and that is before any of the DLC coming out for it! The game is beautiful and while playing you find yourself stopping to just look around the world - you watch the lightning bugs flicker in the night air, you notice off in the distance a mammoth and giant going at each other fighting for the right to be the largest thing that walks on land, The river rushes by you and you notice the fish just waiting to be plucked from the cold water, the snow covered mountains are filled with the sounds of howling wolves and bandits that wait for you to go by so they can get the jump on you, the snow whips by you so heavy that you can barely see the tree's in front of you and you finally get to that town you have been stalking towards, you enter the local pub and find yourself a Nordic Ale and rest your tired bones...That is what playing Skyrim feels like - an amazing journey that everyone should play.
